People always wonder why they need to come back for top ups or why Micorblading isn't a one off treatment. Well the answer is simple - THE SUN! The skin on your face is exposed to much more sunlight than other areas of the body. This leads the colours to fade in the pigments over time. Just like a painting or a carpet exposed to sunlight will fade in colour over time so too will your Microblading. There are other factors to consider too but on days like today it is so important to protect your brows from strong sun. Im sure a lot of you are like me and struggle to find high factors that can be worn on the face without clogging the pores. I always find that after using sun screen I break out in spots so over the years I have been trying and testing different brands and these 3 are my favourite. Light weight but high factors. They can easily be worn every day and under make up with out feeling greasy or heavy. Dr Obaji is wildy know for his at home skin peels and Blue Obaji Chemical peels. As he is working with skin that is very sensitive after these peels he uses his own brand of Sunscreen - so you know its good! His products are sold by dermatologists here's a link to an Irish supplier Skin Ceuticals' Ultra Facial Defense SPF 50 protects skin from the range of UV rays known to cause premature skin ageing. The 25ml tube is great to have in your bag, screw top so no accidental messes. Usually costs around €40 but you can get it on Zest beauty now for €25 I love the Clarins Cleansers and Toners and when I tried their SPF I loved that too! Surprise Surprise! Just like their Cleansers my skin felt hydrated after I used it. This is a great SPF if your skin is slightly dryer but you don't want to feel like you've used a heavy sunscreen! It's around €38 and you can order it here on the Brown Thomas site.
